Dr. Schaller received his Medical Degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing, Michigan. He completed his Internal Medicine residency as well as his Cardiology Fellowship at Kennedy Memorial Hospital / University Medical Center in New Jersey. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology.

 

He has held several academic appointments including Professor of Medicine, Program Director, Assistant Dean for Clinical Affairs, Director of Medical Education, Associate Professor of Medicine and Chief, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. His present academic appointments include Vice Dean of Touro University, Professor of Medicine at Touro University as well as the Program Director for Internal Medicine at Valley Hospital. Dr. Schaller has been the recipient of many teaching awards and academic honors.

He has authored several published articles in professional medical journals and has been active in clinical research. He is actively involved in several National Organizations such as the American College of Osteopathic Internists and currently sits on the National Board of Osteopathic Examiners.

Dr. Schaller joined CCN in December 2008.
