Dr. Nguyen received his Medical Degree from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the UCLA-SanFernandoValley program; general Cardiology fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine; and, his Interventional Cardiology, Coronary and Peripheral Interventional Fellowship at the University of California (UCSD) , San Diego School of Medicine.
Prior to joining Cardiovascular Consultants of Nevada in 2002, Dr. Nguyen served as clinical instructor in the cardiology division at the UCSD School of Medicine. He has been active in Interventional Cardiology research and is the author of several published studies in academic medical journals.
Dr. Nguyen is Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology. He is also Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Currently Dr. Nguyen is involved with such organizations as AmericanCollege of Physicians (ACP-ASIM) and the AmericanCollege of Cardiology.
Dr. Nguyen is fluent in English and Vietnamese. His interests include travel and medical volunteering abroad in under-developed countries.
