Job Summary:
Delivers direct patient care in the capacity of CVTIII in addition to providing supervision and guidance to back office personnel according to established clinical policies and procedures authorized by CCNV. Monitors, coordinates and modifies staffing levels and schedules of back office staff. This includes willingness to cover and/or float for back office staffing needs at other clinical sites as necessary.
Qualifications:
Certificate of completion from an accredited medical technical program or equivalent on the job training required. Minimum 5 years of health provider experience in a fast pace clinic environment preferably in a cardiovascular clinic setting; at least three years of supervisory experience is required. Minimum education required is high school diploma or equivalent. A current American Heart Association CPR certification for Healthcare Providers is required. ACLS certification preferred. Knowledge of management and supervision of a clinical setting. Requires accuracy and ability to coordinate and prioritize workday efficiently. Able to successfully delegate and direct duties of back office staff. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective internal and external working relationships. Strong communication skills required. Must be detail oriented. Ability to deal courteously with patients, staff and others. Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.

Promotes a positive work environment and builds a cohesive clinical team to support the mission and objectives of Cardiovascular Consultants of Nevada.
Coordinates clinical needs and activities with other supervisory personnel such as the Front Office Coordinator and Lead RN in a positive manner to meet the needs of the clinics.
Monitors, coordinates and modifies staffing levels and schedules of back office CVT’s in coordination with Lead RN.
Consistently incorporates principles of safety and infection control into daily activities. Stresses the importance of protective equipment and takes appropriate precautions. Serves as a model to others.
Plans and facilitates meetings as necessary for clinical staff.
Evaluates job performance and performs reviews. Develops goals and objectives that support and promote excellent customer service.
Plans and conducts initial training and continuing education of clinical staff.
Monitors and orders necessary clinical supplies.
Maintains strictest confidentiality regarding patient, personnel and business operations issues.
Coordinates time off requests for back office personnel.
Ensures that back office is adhering to company and department policies.
Travels to all assigned sites to support staff as needed.
